Since winning the National Mozart Singing Competition in the UK, Susan Legg has enjoyed a flourishing international career that has taken her to major concert venues around the world. She is regularly broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and has recorded Bach arias for Norwegian Radio. Her lyric mezzo soprano has received praise from the legendary mezzo Christa Ludwig and her disc of Lutoslawski chamber music for ASV with award-winning pianist Ann Martin-Davis received great acclaim.

Susan recorded and co-composed the soundtrack with composer Stephen Baysted for the feature film ‘The Impressionists’ (‘dazzling’ Sydney Arts Guide) which played in cinemas worldwide. The soundtrack was recorded at Air Edel Studios with soprano Louise Walsh and pianist Jonathan Plowright

Project Cars

A hugely enjoyable collaboration in 2015 with composer Laurie Dunkin-Wedd saw the recording of his musique concrète score Brancusi for solo mezzo and industrial sounds which features on his new CD Lorelei.
